I keep chooks and I borrow a neighbour’s dog to walk everyday. We walk all over the countryside of Allendale and there are hares, birds, rabbits, bison, sheep, alpacas, goats as well as other dogs. So my animals are from my world of observation - but also invention. The idea of making them also comes from the fact that the materials I find lend themselves to the making of animals.
