Jodi Heffernan

Jodi Heffernan's art practice is a continuum in her re-imagination of  the natural environment. By abstracting the real and intermingling it with the  imagined, she seeks to reveal the ambiguity and mystery of an 'other' world beyond that of the casual observation. The flora and fauna of the Australian coastline is an integral part of her exploration, creating overlays of abstracted textures found along the coasts of Australia, reimagined by infusion with an interior world of the artist.
