TACIT Still Life Prize 22

TACIT Still Life Prize: $5,000 non-acquisitive

Mount Avoca People's Choice Award: Accommodation/wine package (value $1,000)

Guest judges: TJ Bateson, David Coles, Erika Gofton

Now an annual event and open to all Australian-based artists, the exhibition will run from Friday 9 - Saturday 24 December 2022. Deadline for submission is midnight, Friday 11 November. Entry is $60 per artist.

For this year, judges will be focussing on the theme of object narratives and we welcome submissions in painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, sculpture and digital prints (reproductions of original artwork will not be accepted). Shortlisted artists for the exhibition to be considered for the Prize will be informed by Monday 14 November.

We look to highlight the diversity and vitality of object narratives and its interpretation and meaning within the genre of still life. Selection of finalists is determined by a cohesive body of three works presented within a consistency of genre and in the same medium, manner and presentation. All work should be time-stamped 2021 or 2022.
