“A trip through the out back last year obviously made a profound impression. These paintings have appeared as non-figurative, abstracted forms from natural phenomena. A self-enclosed world provides the necessary environment to coax these resistant images from my unconscious.
A work is born from a kind of confused emotion. The work is an attempt to elucidate that emotion. Puvis de Chavannes.
