Shipping Policy

Tacit Art uses Australia Post, specialist artwork transporters and courier’s dependant on each artwork and delivery location.

The purchaser is responsible for the cost of shipping and/or handling and should be aware that where relevant, you will be liable and responsible for any import requirements or restrictions, licences, duties, taxes and/or government charges that may apply. Payment in full must be made before any delivery arrangements are put into practice.

Delivery times for artworks varies according to location and schedule of the carrier (all deliveries are currently delayed due to COVID-19 restrictions) and the availability of the artwork.

If a work is purchased from a current exhibition and that work is unique state, delivery will not be arranged until the exhibition has ended. If the work is a limited edition, delivery is based on the availability of the edition at the point of purchase. Some printmakers print the whole edition at one time and purchase of such work can take place relatively quickly after the order is placed. Other printmakers print according to demand.

Delivery times are indicative only. As delivery is made by an external party, Tacit Art cannot be held responsible for any failure to observe stated delivery times.

The work can be collected from Tacit Art for no charge although proof must be presented that purchase has been settled in full.
