Craig Daniels - 'Between Taxidermy & Hibiscus'

Between Taxidermy and Hibiscus is a figurative representation of an alternate world, inhabited by a collection of glimpses of a recognisable motif. While operating more intuitively, Daniels' work is becoming less obvious as it continues to regard aesthetically what is usually passed over. Expanding his visual parameters allows the artist to move more freely within each composition.

His recollections of an emotional response are, as Daniels says himself, sometimes observant from the hill; other times interwoven into the maelstrom.
