Jackie Gorring makes art out of her environment and the life she witnesses and experiences in a small rural Victorian town of Allendale. Ever slightly the voyeur, her work and exhibitions reflect a sense of humour and sensibility rarely explored. But as a member of the community of oddballs, misfits and eccentrics, Jackie reflects as well as observes.

The colour and life within her work - whether it be the prints or sculptures - exudes vibrancy and a joie de vivre that is uniquely inventive and highly personalised.
