Liam Waldie

Liam Waldie is an emerging artist based on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria.  His works primarily deal with the landscape often depicting where the ocean meets the land or winding roads toward endless horizons. He creates contemporary Australian landscapes rich in layered colour and detail drawn from personal experiences in an attempt to connect the viewer to the landscape and take away the importance the environment has on us.

Waldie works from his studio at Onshore Studios, Rosebud, a space that he has created alongside his colleague and friend Baden Croft. He has exhibited in group shows, commissioned artwork and is in private collections across Australia and overseas.
